I've just started following this guy Steve Abraham is a British long distance endurance cyclist attempting to break Tommy Godwin's 75 year old record for miles cycled in a year. Tommy managed 75,065 in 1939. Steve hopes to top 80,000. www.strava.com/athletes/1419435He's riding 300km + per day! Here's yesterday's ride www.strava.com/activities/432187242

If you are interested in Steve then try Kurt Searvogel . He only has 59 days to go to break the record Here is the SPREADSHEET of the current attempt Kurt is on his first attempt and will be done by the 9th Jan Steve is on his concurrent attempt. He started his first one on the 1st Jan but got hit by a drunken motorbike rider in March and broke his ankle. He restarted on the 1st July or August not quite sure. While he was recovering from his operation he was riding a tricycle with one leg only around a velodrome !!!! The other guys are jokers
