the crowd says... Anyone interested in a reprise of this route? greg is keen to do this as an alternative to all the road miles that he rides. I know a few (very few) of you did it earlier this year in June and I rode it with an old riding buddy earlier earlier this month. I also know some others were interested so would anyone want to join us? Given the unpredictability of the weather it's likely to be a short notice ride e.g. on a Wednesday to say "right, who's up for it this weekend?" Register your interest below: - @richard - greg- @anyone else? The plan is: Leave Ashtead circa 9 a.m. Arrive Brighton circa 4 p.m. A couple of beers (or ginger beers for mrzr2005) Train home - trains run every 30 minutes to East Croydon or Clapham Junction Here's the ride report, pics and route from 8th August

Did you buy a £2500 MOUNTAIN bike to ride it to Brighton all the time! Man up for F**k sake GAY! I just checked the box, definitely didn't say anything about where I must or must not ride it. Pretty sure I've taken it to the Alps to thrash it for a week this year already. Where have you been?

Not to Brighton down a footpath that's for sure! Probably because you wouldn't be fit enough to last the distance. C'mon kids, I'm all for banter but the bickering is getting tiresome. Ride a bike, any bike, where you want, at your own pace, if you like it then good on you, keep going. If you don't like cereals, no need to piss on everyone else's cornflakes.
