Yea I hadn't forgotten about that I'll be going back over the bike making sure everything is properly tightened down but thank you for pointing it out Just got to remember not to grab the brakes too hard on this bike...

There's a knack to the skewers on those XFusion forks, I've got them, various shops I've been to didn't know what to do to straighten the lever. In case you don't know, you tighten it up with the lever, you allen key undo the lever, pull it off, then align it with the leg the allen key do it up again.

Pretty happy with the forks they're the previous model but 170mm travel with the DLA so I can lock them down to 140mm plus low and high speed damping control and only paid £360 brand new! Bargain... They can also take either 26" or 27.5" I opted to go 26" as I didn't want to raise the bottom bracket too much.

Looking good and a very aggro build. Did you put it together yourself and is that a 16" frame? How's that seatpost btw? i'm waiting for my 31.6 frame to turn up

Yea it's a 16" frame put it together myself the upside is I now have a much better collection of tools!
What frame did you go with?
It seems well built no movement bit heavier than expected but no cables to mess around with and hopefully it'll be fairly maintenance free.

What frame did you go with? It's real, it's steel, it shall all be revealed...

Unless he picked up a used one won't be a slackline as they aren't due until the end of next month which is why I didn't get one...

Looks bling! Whilst I'm not a fan of anodised coloured stems I can't help think that the bike would look and feel better with a flat bar. Other than that, I love it!

There's going to be a lot of tweaking around the stem and handlebar yet, I played it safe for now but won't know how it feels and what needs changing until I get some rides on it.
The stem is pretty nice it's a superstar DH one and feels very solid and well made.

Yep the saddle needs to go up more for riding and never hurts to be able to drop the seat as far out of the way as you want.
Also if anything goes wrong with the dropper it's nice to have manual adjustment.
