Sssssshhh keep it quiet, I've managed a pass for Wed morning. Is the Wednesday slackers club still running? Fancy some of that Holmbury action. I'm going anyhow but it would be nice not to be nobby no mates Cheers Lee

I'm still trying to get the new bike sorted, had a bit of a set back on the tyres as the rear one looks like there's an issue with the compound, the tyre has a white residue on it and feels sticky Time to go back to schwalbe....

Usually start Peaslake and head up from there, just means a cuppa at the end. Although the tea from the shop has been a bit chalky recently. Again, usually, 9:30 Pond Lane car park for 3 hours or so. I'll update later today or tomorrow if you're keen for that. James,

I'm guessing you'll be easy to spot in car park? Yep, I've a white Golf with bike roof rack, either riding a Transition black full suss or a Stanton black hardtail, wearing either a Red or Green helmet, maybe a blue one (does that help?). There'll be maybe 5 other people / cars there too but I'll try to get there for 9:15. See you tomorrow. James.

Well, Epic Slacking I'd say. Nice to meet you leed and as you probably noticed I had a red helmet and my transition bike and the chain fell off about 5 times, maybe more. Worn out I think. Impromptu attendance by Karl The Roominator and a ride with Karl is not a ride with Karl unless something epic happens, this time was just an epic crash which I am sure would have mashed up most people but Karl brushes is off and does the jumps again - insane. I carried on with a couple to tour holmbury and now I am shattered and looking forward to 3.5 hours of TaeKwon-Do tonight. ummm. James (Jim)

Hoping it won't be long until I'm back with the Wednesday slackers.... Need to get my new bike carrier first as the new bike will be more of a pain in the arse to use the rack! And then after that learn to ride

leed and The RoominatorHere's my perspective on the Epic Wednesday session, you get to just see Karl's forward roll dusty crash but you gotta look for it in the edge of the screen. Great session guys

THIS ISN'T FAIR! My stupid bike rack means I can't get the bike on without over hanging one side of the car Eh? what rack you got and surely it's the bikes fault not the rack and is this an unforseen issue with slack head angles and longer forks? We must be told!

It's one of the hang on ones, the issue is because it goes through the top tube the bike can't go far enough over I had the same issue with my 29er so had to take the rear wheel off but that led to scratches which I don't want and also the new bike has a rear through axle is more of a pain! I've ordered a proper platform one but not arrived yet

Another EPIC slacking session around Peaslake, Pitch etc etc etc A short break at 12:30 for a quick refuel before some Holmbury action and another 10 miles or so of lovely trails. All good and great to ride again with Richard and to meet the inspirational terry - I'm looking forward to the next time guys. James.
