100 miles on closed road pissing off all the residents off Surrey sounds like Fun to me , we'll to all those Motorists who show no regard to Cyclists anyway ?

my preference for the surrey 100 is to infiltrate it for short periods on mountain bikes, like me and Al did last year we joined it from the bottom of drum and bass, then peeled back up ranmore, and then again down dorking high street the trick is the join for a few hundred yards at a time, pedalling really fast, zig zagging between the lycra brigade the uptight roadies didn't like it...but i loved it :-)

.. and me, and me, I was there too! Though admittedly not for the Dorking section. The number of, "Bloody hell, they're on mountain bikes", or "Why are you so muddy?" was most amusing
