Had no problems over the years with Easton carbon bars and more recently with Answer but in need of another pair (once you go wide you can't go back ) and quite like the look of these but there is very little (nothing) out there in the way of comprehendible reviews and I'm not too familiar with 3T, this is the bar: www.chainreactioncycles.com/3t-riser-740-team-mtb-handlebar/rp-prod133845Any thoughts/experience please, (basically are they going to stay in one piece)?

3T is primarily a roadie brand so don't know much about it. Best to stay with tried and tested brand, Raceface Next or Sixc carbon bars are great, or renthal. If you're on a budget worth a look at Superstar www.superstarcomponents.com/en/lithium-carbon-bar.htmExtra 20% off for a week too ( code Flash20oct)

Thanks Laurent, agreed that there are some proven brands out there and I should be going that way, but I like the early rise on these.
Likewise being roady I know very little about them, they do however have a reputation to maintain!
With no reviews out there perhaps it will be my job first!

no experience here but my recommendation is to steer clear of £13 Chinese carbon bars

Saw that too on STW yesterday Richard, exactly what I am trying to avoid! What did he expect from £13 Chinese carbon!?

Why would you skimp on the bars of a bike that cost thousands?
