Well this is the wrong place to organise an MTB holiday. I believe the current process is all to go away for a weekend and then arrange a secret squirrel holiday amongst yourselves without telling or inviting anyone else on the forum and then keeping schtum about it and not mentioning it at in any forum posts...

Has anyone ever been mtbing on the area of lake Garda? I've never been to Lake Garda, but I'm happy to have a forthright opinion on it nonetheless. I would say that it may well be good, but may not be, and so don't quote me when I say either of those things. One thing that may detrimentally affect it's potential as a mountain biking destination is the fact that it is a lake, rather than a mountain, and as such, it will be flat and won't support the weight of your bike. That fact alone might be enough to put you off. One thing I have noticed is that the shape of the lake is a little bit like a knob and balls (if you turn your head to the side a bit and squint). Hope this helps Jonesy

The thing is if you only ride your Mtb once a year your never get to hear about any holiday plans that are made. Just saying lol

Steven In truth, I have been there and stayed in Riva. My advice would be not to go as the mountain biking was utter shite. I'm so glad you asked before booking. The Alps is the place to go. I think some others on this forum have arranged a trip. Go there instead. Regards Rob.
