I know leed is a crosser and I believe battling has joined the club.
I have put 25mm slicks for commuting but I have been taking it off road and been getting a load of pinch flats.
What tyres are you all running for mixed terrain use?

Its a nightmare! Something for the gravel sir, the roads will rip the knobs off! Something for the road, slide around like an arse on the gravel When my mix was more 50/50 the cruisers worked well for me. Now my commute is more road based some Marathon Supremes have just turned up (along with some Tioga Comp III's ) YMMV

i have some Bontrager Satellite Plus 700x32c, 60 TPI on my commuter bike. Not strictly speaking CX tires but they can happily handle gravel, dirt tracks, kerb jumps, potholes and are very puncture resistant

A friend recommended Bontrager CX0, ran them on coast to coast and they have been very good. Fast rolling and handle off road stuff well.
