An SDG Ti-alloy railed saddle for only 12 quid ? seems too good to be true but it actually is tried mine at the weekend, it's light, well padded with a thick nose and overall very comfy on my hardtail.

Intense tyres half price. Single (AM) and dual ply (FR) available. The 909 looks remarkably similar to a Minion DHF so probably worth a shot for gravity oriented riding. I'm thinking of using that at the front with a High roller at the back for the bike park in the Pyrenees.

Since the winter will probably never, ever, go away you should get a pair of these booties. They have been a revelation for my weekly commute. SPDs compatible only and they come up short but they're dirt cheap.

Let's reactivate this old thread. With the winter on it's way i was looking for a meatier front tire for the Stumpy. I came across www.acycles.co.uk/ where i got a High Roller II Exo, TR, 3C Max Terra compound for a kerrazeee £28. Those would normally set you back £50+ Loads of other discounted rubbers (26, 27.5, 29) and for another week free Parcelforce delivery I'm tempted to get a Maxxis Beaver too, anyone got experience with that?

Winter's on its way so get your bits covered. Enter MUCKYNUT2 for 15% discount at muckynutz.com , home of the original piece of plastic thingy (Marshguard has blatantly stolen the "concept" btw) I know Batbling has posted a template to make your own one but good luck sourcing a material that will be durable & rigid enough Lots of new colours too to match your ride...

While we are talking bargains, CRC have some nice WTB tyres in their sale at £20 a go including some TCS variants which are UST compatible. I got a couple of Moto and Bronsons and I happen to know another user of this site has 3 new Motos in his stash from here. They are very light at 630g, too.

Re muckynutz they are good I have one on my ht. have you guys tried mudhugger? Similar concept but more extensive guard and more substantial material. I have the rear one on my ht and it's great. Very robust not flimsy like a crud guard and excellent protection.
It's always amusing to listen to riders who pooh pooh plastic guards in preferebce to a shit streak up their arse in winter.

Can't say I've tried the shorts, but I've been rockin' the Tenn Outdoors waterproof gilet as a mid-season, what's the weather gonna do?, garment. Review here

It pains me to say but Halfords actually have some very good deals at the moments. Popped in the local branch this morning and they are de-stocking their Gore clothing range so I ended up getting some bib shorts, jersey and jacket for one third of the original price! Also if you buy online or instore before 31st May they have a 3 for 2 deal on all cycling stuff & parts that includes discounted items. Just don't ask them to fit anything for you...

good shout but do they do any pads to match the SRAM Guide RS brakes on my bike? Yes, A6 type. Go for organic, they're the best and also the cheapest. Sintered squeal and vibrate and Kevlar last one day and eat through rotors Also worth getting yourself a bleed kit from Epic bleed solutions
